hanging kingfisher

A cute little handmade kingfisher to hang in your home. Blink and you'll miss them on the riverbank but this fella is easier to spot! It's approx 12cm tall, small enough to be cute but big enough to spot from afar!

I've hand stitched this bird using eco-fi, a felt made from recycled plastic bottles, motivated by wanting to make vegan friendly sustainable Christmas ornaments. This kingfisher would make a bright unique tree decoration, but is perfect to hang all year round. I've loved spotting rainbows in windows, birds hung from windows would make a really sweet addition to these public displays of art.

Stuffed with polyester toy filling, with design stitched on both sides and sting securely attached long enough to dangle from a handle.
