Wild meadow badge

A large hand embroidered brooch inspired by a wild patch at my local woodland called Otley Chevin. Spending time watching these wild flowers turn to seed heads is my happy place, I hope this love comes through in my little stitches.

I've hand sewn rosebay willowherb, grasses, clover, wild parsley, buttercups and thistles, onto this beautiful mustard yellow felt. 

I use eco-fi, a felt made from recycled plastic bottles, for all my work.
